First Orthodontic Visit

Your first step is to call and schedule your complimentary new patient evaluation.

We are always excited to meet new patients and their families. Your new patient exam is complimentary and takes about 60 minutes. During this visit, we take the time to get to know you and your treatment goals, perform a thorough evaluation, and answer any questions that you may have.

Dr. Gilbert will evaluate your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and facial balance. If a problem exists that can be corrected with orthodontics, then we will discuss your treatment options.

Diagnostic records may be recommended.

These records include radiographs (x-rays), impressions for study models, and digital photographs. This information is necessary so we can create a customized treatment plan to achieve the best results possible.

After studying the diagnostic records, a customized treatment plan is developed.

The doctor will provide a complete diagnosis, offer treatment options, and recommend the ideal treatment plan for your needs. We will also discuss the estimated treatment time and quote a treatment fee. We want every patient to be informed and we encourage you to ask questions. Our treatment coordinator, will discuss payment options so that orthodontic treatment is affordable and fits into your family budget.
